Evangelistic Department

Love Fellowship Tabernacle’s Evangelistic Department... gathering the harvest, bridging the gap. We are a comprehensive outreach ministry whose purpose is to win souls to the Body of Christ, help new converts transition into the local church, and equip believers to be effective witnesses. The Evangelistic Department serves as an umbrella for the Altar Workers Ministry, Baptism Ministry, Beacon Light Prison Ministry, Crusaders for Christ Street Team, Deaf Ministry, and New Members Ministry.

We are called to fulfill Luke 14:23 and Matthew 28:19-20 which states:

“And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled."

“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”

We seek to accomplish our mission through a variety of methods including:

  • Community outreach programs that seek to satisfy the unique needs of our surrounding neighborhoods;
  • Street witnessing and services;
  • Prison outreach to visit the incarcerated and present them with the gospel of Jesus Christ while supporting their families;
  • Evangelism workshops to train believers in intercessory prayer, defending the faith, and effective witnessing in our culture; and
  • Christian education workshops to train new converts in the foundation of our doctrine including topics such as salvation, baptism, and the infilling of the Holy Spirit.
